Terms of Use

Last Updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Rasad ("The Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must cease using the service immediately.

2. Nature of Service

Rasad is a Defensive Security Tool.

  • Purpose: The platform is designed solely to help individuals and organizations verify if their personal data has been compromised in public data breaches.
  • Source of Data: We aggregate data from publicly available sources (OSINT). We do not generate or steal data, and we do not guarantee its accuracy or authenticity.

3. Authorized Use (The "White Hat" Rule)

You agree to use Rasad only for lawful purposes.

  • Self-Verification: You may search for your own email addresses, usernames, or domains.
  • Authorized Security Audit: You may search for data belonging to a company or entity only if you are explicitly authorized to perform security audits for them.

🚫 Prohibited Actions:

  • Doxxing: Using the service to gather private information on individuals without their consent.
  • Scraping: Using bots, crawlers, or scripts to harvest our database is strictly prohibited and will trigger immediate IP bans.
  • Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decompile our search algorithms or bypass our rate limits.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

  • No Guarantee of Safety: A "Clean" result does not guarantee that your account is safe; it only means the data is not in our specific index yet.
  • Accuracy: Leaked data is often messy or old. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the results.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rasad and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
  • Any security incidents (hacking, phishing) that occur despite using our checker. You are responsible for your own security measures (e.g., 2FA, Password Rotation).

6. Intellectual Property

All code, design, logos, and the "Rasad" brand are the exclusive property of the operators. The aggregated leak data belongs to its respective original sources/public domain, but the index structure and search mechanism are proprietary to Rasad.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Palestine. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Palestine.
